Mr. Currie joined the family business in 1982 and is Chief Executive Officer of Posse Resources and Continental Operating Company. During the past 35 years, he has assisted in various functions, including expert testimony support, all aspects of office management and investment activity. This includes company retirement plans, oil and gas acquisitions, family investment funds and creating new businesses. He is a major investor and currently serves or served on the board of CIMA Energy Ltd., Municipal Energy Resources Co., Green Bank and Traditions Golf Club & Development. Annual revenue from these start-up entities now exceeds several billion dollars. He and his wife established a Faculty Chair at Mays Business School and serves on the Mays Business School Dean’s Advisory Council. Mr. Currie received a B.B.A. in Management in 1985 from Texas A&M.
